Principal Investigator
Dr. Yuhong He is a Professor in the Department of Geography, Geomatics and Environment at the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus. Her research employs remote sensing, machine/deep learning and ecosystem modelling to study changes in natural systems (grasslands, forests and wetlands) and in managed systems, including farmland and urban environments.
With her team, she has published 120 peer-reviewed journal articles and given more than 140 conference presentations, working closely with conservation authorities, government agencies and industry partners. She is Editor-in-Chief of Geomatica and an Associate Editor of the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
